About this opportunity

This role supports the organization's financial operations by accurately managing transactions, maintaining the chart of accounts, and handling AP/AR activities in QuickBooks. It prepares key financial statements, including profit and loss and cash flow reports, to provide essential visibility into business performance. The position completes regular reconciliations and processes primary source documents to ensure data accuracy. It also upholds ongoing compliance by following regulatory requirements and internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Categorize and post transactions in QuickBooks

• Maintain a chart of accounts

• Set up and execute payments

• Prepare financial statements (PNL, cash flow)

• Complete reconciliations

• Manage on-going compliance

• Manage accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) in QuickBooks

• Process and maintain primary source documents

Location and Schedule

• This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our Fort Lauderdale HQ.

• Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on bookkeeping for small businesses, ideally multi-entity.

• Accounting/Finance/Business education or equivalent practical experience, experience with online banking platforms.

Tools:

• Microsoft Excel

• QuickBooks
